**HiSMoT**

**High-speed motion tracking and coupling for human-robot collaborative assembly tasks**
- Today, the capabilities of human-robot collaboration (HRC) are widely investigated for industrial manufacturing processes, mainly in lab environments. However, they are not well applied in production systems. Performance and safety can be a primary challenge that limits collaboration efficiency, particularly for motions at higher speeds. HRC combines the extended capabilities of humans and robots in order to create a more inclusive and human-centered future in the production industry. In this aspect, HiSMoT aims to investigate how robots and humans should behave to handle an object and anticipate mutual care, particularly for collaborative operation. This involves human motion capturing, robot motion capturing, collaborative modeling, and control. Machine learning (e.g. deep learning) techniques will be applied to achieve the foreseen objective.**Your profile**:

- Master's or equivalent degree in production engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, industrial engineering, electrical engineering, computer science or related fields
- Interest in collaborative robot programming, human motion modeling and simulation and machine learning
- Proficiency in computer programming language: Python (preferred), C#, C++
