**Role Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Concept Development**:Create original, trend-driven packaging concepts for makeup products, ensuring alignment with brand aesthetics and customer appeal
- **Design Execution**: Design packaging that balances creativity with functionality, optimizing for ease of use, storage, and transportation
- **Sustainability**: Collaborate with the product and sourcing teams to incorporate sustainable materials and eco-friendly practices in packaging design
- **Prototyping**: Develop mockups and prototypes to evaluate the look, feel, and functionality of packaging designs
- **Brand Consistency**: Ensure all packaging aligns with the company's brand guidelines and reflects our core values
- **Collaborations**: Work closely with product developers, marketing teams, and external vendors to ensure packaging meets quality, regulatory, and production standards
- **Trend Analysis**: Stay updated on industry trends, consumer preferences, and competitors to create innovative packaging solutions

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- At least 2-3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the beauty or cosmetics industry, with a portfolio showcasing diverse packaging and print design projects and styles
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
- Strong understanding of graphic design principles, including typography, color theory, and layout composition as well as materials, printing techniques, and sustainability in packaging
- Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Knowledge of current beauty trends and the competitive landscape is a plus
- Business English proficiency, German proficiency is a plus
- Photography skills are a plus
