Technical Editor

products (home health care) and is represented on the European market and
in a total of 40 countries with various brands. medisana is majority-owned by
the Chinese Ogawa Smart Healthcare Technology Group Co. Ltd., one of the
world's leading manufacturers of massage products.

We are looking for an employee (M/F/d) who wants to be effective together with us. To
strengthen our Quality Management department in Neuss, we are looking for you to take on
exciting challenges as a

**Technical editor (M/F/d)**

**Your area of responsibility**:

- Target group-oriented conception, creation and update of technical documentation

(operating/assembly instructions).
- Presentation of complex technical contents in a logical form in compliance with the relevant

standards and regulations (e.g. DIN EN 82079, MDR)
- Close cooperation with product development and development of documentation strategies

in the team
- Coordination and tracking of deadlines
- Cooperation with the specialist departments (e.g. technology, product management,
- marketing, purchasing)- Conducting research for technical issues
- Administration, optimisation, and classification of existing documentation
- Organisation and product data transfer in the respective target language (translation
- management)- Analysis of competitive documentation

**Your capabilities**:

- Successfully completed technical training or a technical degree, preferably also as a technical

editor or with Tekom certification
- Long-time professional experience in the preparation of information for use
- Particularly good knowledge of relevant software for technical editing, especially the Adobe

Software Suite (InDesign/Photoshop/Illustrator) and, if applicable, further graphics
editing/layout software.
- Ability to communicate and work in a team as well as independent and solution-oriented

way of working
- Good knowledge of MS Office
- Language confidence and excellent expressiveness in the English; German desirable but not a
- must- Particularly good knowledge of English. If applicable, knowledge of other foreign languages is
- an advantage- High affinity for technical products
- Effective communication skills
- Advisory skills combined with assertiveness
- High resilience with quick comprehension
- Analytical thinking and reliability
