**About the Role**:We are looking for a Network Administrator (f/m/d) to join the Gore Fabrics IT Team. As a Network Administrator you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's computer networks, ensuring seamless connectivity, optimal performance, and security. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, problem solving skills, and a proactive approach to network management.
**Responsibilities**:
- Design, plan, and implement computer networks, including local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs)
- Configure routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices to support organizational requirements
- Conduct regular maintenance activities, such as updates, patches, and configurations
- Diagnose and resolve network-related issues, including connectivity problems, performance bottlenecks, and security incidents
- Ensure compliance with security policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, diagrams, and procedures
**Required Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field OR a minimum 2 years of proven experience as a Network Administrator or in a similar role
- Experience with virtualization technologies and cloud networking
- Demonstrate the ability to adapt to changing conditions and a track record of delivering outstanding results in new and tough situations.
- Actively demonstrates Gore’s guiding principles and fosters an environment of inclusion, authenticity, and humility
- Communicates directly and effectively with Associates to resolve challenges regardless of their role or difference of opinion
- Travel 5%, if applicable
**Desired Qualifications**:
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent certifications
