Graduate Manufacturing & Engineering Project Leader (m/w/d)

What will you be doing?

At SUEZ Water Technologies & Solutions we offer our graduates a challenging 24-month program focused on developing their essential and technical skills through a combination of in person, virtual and on the job training. Each graduate in our program takes on a focused role to develop their expertise in a specific area and make a difference for the local business team.

Job Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals and coordinate various managers and technical personnel during all project phases, from initial development through implementation.
- Monitor project progress continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables.
- Communicate proactively with all involved personnel to provide encouragement, identify problems, create solutions, and implement efficiency improvements.
- Work closely with the finance function to create economics of project plans and provide actionable feedback relating to cost benefit and return-on-investment.
- Co-develop and implement MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) with global IT colleagues to maximize shop floor productivity at our Bitterfeld Germany Reverse Osmosis membrane factory.
- Establish global automation strategies across multiple manufacturing sites.

General
- Developing knowledge of Water Treatment Technologies and Processes.
- Developing knowledge of SUEZ equipment, technology, Products.
- Ensuring compliance with the SUEZ WTS Quality Management System (QMS) and development of a strong Health & Safety compliant mindset in all activities.
- Providing concise and timely reports, updating reports to management team and participating in all team rhythms.

Travel Requirements
- The role may involve mínimal travel (approx. 10%) within UK/Europe and potentially throughout EMEA region.

Location
- Position is based in the SUEZ WTS Bitterfeld Germany operation.

Job Skills & Qualifications

Required:

- Master’s degree in mechanical or Chemical Engineering, advanced degree beneficial.
- Good communication skills in German and English languages.

Preferred:

- Familiarity with industrial chemical processes.
- Minimum professional work experience preferred.
- Knowledge in manufacturing, including automated environments.
- Ability to travel globally without restrictions.
- Good presentation skills
- Ability to influence and persuade
- Organized and self-motivated for success
- Demonstrated prioritization skills and ability to manage multiple and changing priorities
- Ability in working in different cultures and environments
- Can demonstrate examples of working with multiple stakeholders
- Other European language skills would be an advantage
- Exposure to local and state regulations as they relate to facility and factory equipment approvals.
