For our purchasing team at our bavarian location Marktoberdorf we are looking for a **Regional Commodity Buyer (M/F/d), Hydraulic components**
At Fendt, you will work for the premium supplier and innovation leader in the agricultural industry. In Purchasing, we pride ourselves on our pivotal role between all divisions of the company. Our cross-departmental and cross-functional cooperation extends to all Fendt plants and includes the globally-operating AGCO Corporation. We coordinate future technologies with international suppliers in line with our Forward Sourcing Strategy and shape sustainable relationships along the supply chains. This role has the responsibility of tactical and operational purchasing processes including assurance of transactional requirements. The Buyer, Regional Commodity serves as contact window for suppliers based in region and is also responsible for daily operational tasks like supply issues, RFQ execution, etc.
**What You Will Do**
- Ensure regional and/or local compliance
- Inform Manager, Regional Commodity (RCM) about market trends and developments
- Manage RFQs, Bid Analysis and supplier recommendations in agreement with RCM
- Execute supplier visits / audits with Supplier Quality Engineers
- Conduct cost analysis activities with Cost Analysis Team; Support commodity reporting and performance measurement
- Carry out contract management, incl. contract data maintenance
- Manage Engineering Change Process in production phase
**What You Will Bring**
- Bachelor's degree in a Business or related disciplines (ie. Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Management, Commodities Management)
- Leverage supplier process knowledge for contract negotiations and continuous improvement opportunities
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills in English are a must, European languages, such as French and Italian are a definite plus
- Ensure a comprehensive TCO that includes reliability, maintenance, operating, energy, transportation, and insurance costs across region
**A Plus If You Have**
- Purchasing, Supply Chain or Engineering background
- Experience of hydraulic parts, processes, technology
- Strong analytical skills with ability to execute operationally
- Experience utilizing Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook) as well as ERP systems like SAP
