Luxury Brand Ambassador
Location: Hamburg or Stuttgart
With an industry-leading portfolio that includes Johnnie Walker Blue Label, Talisker, Singleton, Tanqueray TEN gin, Zacapa Rum, Cîroc vodka, Don Julio Tequila, Diageo is the #1 Luxury spirits player in Northern Europe. As premiumisation keeps driving the spirits category growth, we have a bold ambition to double our Luxury business in the next 5 years.
About the Role
In this role you will be the personification of Diageo’s ambition: to become the world's best-performing, most-trusted consumer goods company and build category-leading partnerships with industry-leading outlets. We are looking for someone with a sophisticated sense of style, who can present themselves and our products to reflect the luxury brand's image and values.
As a Sales Representative for our luxury portfolio, you:
- Possess a strong knowledge of brand and production processes and sell the history and heritage of the luxury brands you represent.
- Are well-connected within the German bartending and gastronomy scene, with knowledge of Whisky Specialist Store spirits industry and retail businesses, and you have a proven track record of building brands in this trend-leading space.
- Have a high affinity for luxury brands and an in-depth understanding of the luxury consumer and how to engage with them.
- Can establish and keep excellent relationships with key influencers in the industry and beyond, and you know the best places to go.
- Become the first point of contact to learn more about upcoming trends or in-depth knowledge about spirits and the industry.
Your job isn’t done until you have created the best in class luxury experience for our customers and consumers with our luxury portfolio. This is a brand building position by heart, and you are responsible for the brand success and inspiring customer loyalty, while implementing marketing and content activations.
Accountabilities
- Tell the heritage and history of the luxury brand products you are selling and representing.
- Work across critical areas of customer activation, advocacy, consumer activation, and capabilities of brand knowledge.
- Drive tailored rituals for our brands and perfect serves within the trend leading outlet universe.
- Implement training programs and tastings, creating brand awareness at scale in a consultative way by closely working with the luxury sales representative of your area, the key account managers, and the wholesaler/retail partners of the outlet.
- Translate social events and promotion activities into content creation for your social media platforms.
- Lead national and international initiatives like the World Class competition and act as a consultant to the cocktail
- and bartending community.
- Together with our culture and entertainment managers, collaboratively generate luxury content of pre-defined events, which will be shared across Diageo’s and media channels.
- Develop luxury point of sale materials which creates a luxury experience with our brands.
- Ensure that the work and all initiatives are tracked in our CRM.
