As experienced accountant, you will be responsible for the bookkeeping and account management for the German entity of the IMMO Group.

**Responsabilities**:

- Responsible for operational accounting duties such as carrying out payments and reconciliations, managing bank accounts, booking items to sub-and-general ledger accounts, creating sales invoices, checking and booking travel expenses
- Manage payroll payments and bookings
- Ensure weekly and monthly reconciliations are completed in a timely and accurate manner
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB, including VAT returns, annual accounts and corporate tax returns
- Work with internal teams on all corporate accounting queries
- Drive improvement to the bookkeeping process and system, delivering efficiencies
- Bring joy to the role, sharing your passion and knowledge for bookkeeping with the team, helping everyone be the best they can be

**What you will bring to the role**:

- You are an experienced bookkeeper, working on corporate accounts (revenues, payroll, offices, SG&A etc.)
- Excellent German and English spoken & written communication skills
- You have knowledge of German accounting standards (HGB)
- You like to take on responsibility and see the extraordinary potential of a fast-growing, international start-up

**Interview Process**:

- Recruiter Screen Call: with one of our recruiters to understand your background and experience in more detail as well as motivations
- Hiring Manager Call: a call with the hiring manager to understand your technical skills in more detail as well as assess your alignment from a culture and team fit perspective
- Panel Interview: a meeting with a number (max 5 depending on level) with a broader number of interviewers that will assess you on set competencies for the role, these will take place either back to back or split over a couple of days depending on diaries
- Culture Interview: a deep dive into IMMO values with someone that you will interact with but is not part of the same department
- Hire Decision: once you have completed the process we will review all feedback and make a final decision with the aim to come back to you within 72 hours following the final interview
