WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- The BOXER 8x8 vehicle armoured vehicle has been developed in a joint co-operation programme between Germany and the Netherlands by the international consortium ARTEC GmbH in Munich, Germany. ARTEC is a joint-venture of Krauss-Maffei Wegmann GmbH & Co. KG, Rheinmetall Landsysteme GmbH and Rheinmetall Defence Nederland B.V. It is the prime contractor responsible for the BOXER Programme, the co-ordination of series production and the focal point for export opportunities. Annual sales are normally between 300 and 400 million EUR and as of February 2021 more than 1,300 BOXER vehicles have been contracted.
- Mainly coordination and maintaining of Logistics Support Analysis (LSA)
- Partly administration of the ILS tooling landscape for Interactive Electronic Technical Publication (IETP) of the BOXER programme
- Coordination of our main subcontractors Rheinmetall and KMW
- Host and chair review meetings with our customer Nations Germany, Netherland, Lithuania, UK and Slovenia, represented by OCCAR and/or NSPA
- Control and report of progress
- Coordinate activities throughout ARTEC’s internal disciplines
- Be responsible for time, cost and quality for LSA activities in BOXER programme
- Continuous improvement of processes and monitoring of KPIs
- Support the logistic configuration process

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
- Bachelor degree, engineer, technician or comparable qualification
- Experience in customer support and/or defence area, preferable armoured vehicle manufacturer desired
- Experience in one of the logistics main disciplines (logistics support analysis, materiel management, or technical publication)
- Good understanding of database logic (preferably MS Access or ORACLE)
- At least knowledge of MIL-STD-1388 and/or S3000L preferable
- Understanding of maintenance organisation levels
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to quickly understand and facilitate complex technical relations
- Hands on mentality
- Business fluent in German and English written and spoken
- Strong scheduling/planning skills

WHO WE ARE

ARTEC GmbH is a joint venture between Krauss-Maffei Wegmann (KMW) and Rheinmetall Defence. As the consortium company for the BOXER program, ARTEC is the prime contractor responsible for the BOXER programs of the German Armed Forces, the Dutch Army, the Lithuanian Armed Forces and the British Army. ARTEC is also responsible for the coordination of series production. The ARTEC team in Munich, which currently has around 30 employees, focuses on project management, development, configuration management, integrated logistics support, quality management and contract management for the BOXER program.
