As Key Account Director, you will have responsibility for growing and managing our client base in the financial services industry. You will do this through direct sales, visiting events and networking in the field of Corporate Service Providers, Private Equity and Alternative Investment Funds. In addition to acquiring new clients, you will build on the relationships to cross sell our various payments and FX hedging services.

This commercial role is a great opportunity to develop the next phase of your career within the FinTech sector as a sales professional and help grow our Germany operation. Ebury is a true meritocracy - your performance will be recognised and rewarded.

**The Role**
- Originating new business autonomously by focusing on our transaction payment services and FX hedging solutions
- Building and expanding a network in the area of corporate service providers, fund managers and alternative investment funds
- Collaborating with product teams to cross-sell cash management, FX hedging and payment products
- Understanding the client's business environments, strategies, and industry to provide the best solution for their situation
- Promoting sales through frequent prospect/client meetings and discussions covering new products, market and industry developments.
- Acquiring new clients and growing wallet share with existing customer relationships
- Supporting the Ebury culture through high quality customer service, compliance and continuous learning and development

**About You**

You will have a track record of sales performance in your current role and be able to evidence career progression as a result. You will have a strong understanding of Germany's financial services industry and a desire to develop the next phase of your career in FinTech. In addition, we are looking for:

- Proven track record (3-5 years) of exceeding sales targets and market share goals
- Sales experience and a network of contacts in financial services and corporate service providers would be an advantage but not essential
- Skilled negotiator, able to build and leverage relationships at senior levels
- Relationship focused, you will enjoy nurturing long-term commercial relationships resulting in repeat business and network referrals
- Ideally with business/finance or legal academic background
- Ability to bring passion, energy and motivation to a sales organisation
- Detail oriented, organised, self-starter with a positive work ethic
- Based in Germany, English and German speaking
