As a Strategic Buyer for Rolls-Royce, you’ll play an integral role in developing and implementing the purchasing strategy for the Nacelle commodity.

This is an exciting opportunity, as you’ll interface with a complex supply chain and drive to improve cost, negotiate complex commercial agreements and manage life of programme contracts.

**What you will be doing**

With this exciting opportunity you will get a chance to:

- be at the forefront of commercial negotiations to achieve the best overall value for Rolls-Royce and build relationships with suppliers,
- establish the commercial framework in which the suppliers shall operate, ensuring cost competitiveness and value improvement is achieved,
- take a significant role in crafting the Nacelle commodity strategy and creating and/or deploying cost models,
- manage major contractual issues and ensure efficient and effective resolution,
- collaborate with other areas of business to ensure purchasing agreements are placed and executed on time,
- be responsible for senior relationship management and business development of suppliers within the Nacelle commodity area and related business project,
- be accountable for ensuring adherence to functional processes and procedures and ongoing development/continuous improvement activities,
- ensure own compliance to the company's code of ethics.

To be successful in this role you will need to:

- have a Business degree or equivalent qualification or significant commercial experience,
- demonstrate a proven track record of delivering results,
- possess a global outlook and exposure to diverse challenges, cultures, and ways of working,
- exhibit good planning and project management skills, along with strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills,
- ideally, be familiar with purchasing and supply chain management,
- have fluent English language skills (both written and spoken).
