We’re a B2B Tech for Good company on a mission to empower nonprofits across the globe with our fundraising platform.
As a Working Student Content Marketing & SEO at RaiseNow, you’ll report directly to our Content & SEO Marketing Manager, Eilish. You’ll play a key role in shaping RaiseNow’s content marketing strategy from beginning to end, and you’ll pick up skills in SEO, social media and project management along the way. This is a role for someone highly organised and motivated to dive into the rewarding world of fundraising.
Your mission
As Working Student Content Marketing & SEO (f/m/d) you will
- Help empower charities and nonprofit organisations to further their missions by producing educational content, including conducting topic research, writing briefs and creating landing pages in collaboration with writers and designers
- Ensure RaiseNow’s website is reaching its full potential by carrying out regular keyword research, onpage SEO checks, content optimisation and website maintenance
- Broaden RaiseNow’s reach by writing, editing and scheduling razor-sharp copy for our social media channels, including collaborating with stakeholders from Events and Design for your posts
- Collaborate closely with colleagues from marketing and external freelance copywriters to maximise the impact of our content marketing strategy
- Help produce guides to improve the efficiency of our content & SEO processes company-wide
**Profile**:
- You are currently enrolled in a German university and studying for a degree in Marketing, Business, Fundraising or a similar field
- You have very good German skills (C2) with a strong command of English
- You have some experience of copy writing, editing, and are keen to learn about SEO
- You are highly organised and methodical, and are comfortable learning to work with new tools such as Asana
- You are highly organised and a team player
- You are an excellent communicator and team player, and able to work to tight deadlines
You don’t necessarily have to meet all the requirements listed here - the main thing is that we are looking for someone who is motivated to learn and excited about our mission.
Nice to have
- Industry experience in Fundraising, B2B or SaaS companies, or a marketing agency is a big plus
- Previous experience working with tools such as Hubspot, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Miro & Figma
- Basic design skills (we will teach you how to use our tools)
- French skills
What you will learn in this position
- Deep understanding of the Content Marketing and SEO function: You’ll be given the freedom to try out new things and experiment with multi-channel inbound marketing, as well as the knowledge of how to measure results and iterate your way to content marketing success
- How to be an effective editor: How to make a good text a great one, and how to maintain content standards at scale in a growing company
- How to project manage effectively: This is a role that requires collaboration with different stakeholders both within and outside of RaiseNow. The role will give you the skills needed to collaborate successfully both in this role and beyond
