Our client, CMBlu Energy AG, with their Organic SolidFlow batteries, are the world's leading company in the development of large electrochemical energy storage systems, advancing this key technology for the energy transition.
Tasks
**Product Strategy and Vision**:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy that aligns with the company’s vision and market demands.
- Define and communicate a clear product roadmap, ensuring alignment with company objectives and market trends.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to drive the strategic direction of product development and innovation.
**Leadership and Collaboration**:
- Lead and inspire a cross-functional product development team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
- Work closely with engineering, marketing, sales, and customer support teams to ensure seamless product delivery and integration.
- Promote agile methodologies and continuous improvement practices within the product team.
**Market Trends and Customer Needs**:
- Conduct thorough market analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
- Engage with customers, partners, and industry experts to gather insights and feedback to inform product development.
- Translate market and customer insights into actionable product features and improvements.
**Innovative Product Solutions**:
- Utilize Design Thinking principles to develop innovative, user-centric product solutions that address customer pain points and market opportunities.
- Drive the ideation, prototyping, and testing of new products and features, ensuring they meet high standards of usability and performance.
- Champion a culture of innovation and experimentation within the product team.
**Product Lifecycle Management**:
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from initial concept to launch and post-launch optimization.
- Implement robust product management processes to ensure timely and successful product releases.
- Continuously monitor product performance and customer feedback, making data-driven decisions to enhance product quality and user experience.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of success in the energy sector or a related industry.
- Experience in managing complex, high-impact products from concept to market.
- Proven leadership skills: Demonstrated ability to motivate and lead cross-functional teams to achieve ambitious goals.
- Experience in building and scaling high-performing product teams.
- Strong background in Design Thinking and product design methodologies, with a focus on user-centered design.
- Ability to foster a creative and collaborative environment that encourages innovation.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and strategic initiatives.
- Strong business acumen and strategic mindset, with the ability to balance short-term priorities and long-term goals.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Experience in engaging with stakeholders at all levels, including customers, partners, and executive leadership.
- Proven ability to solve complex problems and make informed, data-driven decisions.
- Experience in navigating ambiguity and driving clarity and focus within the product team.
