The Faculty of Translation Studies, Linguistics, and Cultural Studies is located in Germersheim, not far from the cities of Mannheim and Karlsruhe.

**Your tasks**:

- Independent research and presentation of research results at conferences and workshops;
- Teaching (2 semester hours, i.e. 90 contact minutes per week)

**Your profile**:

- In addition to the general requirements according to public services law, applicants must meet the recruitment requirements stipulated in - 57 of the _Hochschulgesetz_ of Rhineland-Palatinate. She/he must
- be prepared and able to contribute to the faculty's program of research and teaching in a spirit of intellectual autonomy and teamwork
- have excellent knowledge of English (excellent knowledge of German is desirable but not required
- ** have excellent knowledge of a post-Soviet language other than Russian** (excellent knowledge of Russian is desirable but not required)

The position is paid according to** **EG 13 TV-L** and to be filled starting on 1 September 2024 for a period of three years.
