**General Information**

The central purchasing department at Vitesco Technologies strategically manages the entire supplier portfolio, focusing on price negotiations, purchase quantities, and contract management. Our portfolio includes various passive components like capacitors, resistors, and coils. We aim to anticipate and address market changes and challenges to remain competitive in the field of passive components. Our goal is to ensure long-term success in these critical areas

A basic requirement for an internship at Schaeffler is proof of enrollment at the time of the internship. This position is availbale from 01.02.2025 for a duration of 6 months.

**Your Key Responsibilities**
- Participating in communication with suppliers and internal decision-making processes
- Contract and data management
- Organizing and participating in supplier meetings
- Data analysis and preparation of various templates and files
- Supporting the sourcing process for new business (inquiries, offers, decision templates)
- Supporting projects in strategic purchasing

**Your Qualification**
- Studies in the filed of Business Administration, Electronics, Industrial Engineering or a comparable field of study
- Proficient in MS Office programs, especially in Excel
- Basic knowledgge in Power BI, Knime and databases are preferred
- Business fluent written and spoken English skills
- Great problem solving and analytical thinking skill
- Effective communication skill
- Strong teamplayer
- Willingness to learn
- Able to work in a fast
- paced enviroment with constant new challenges
