Senior Field Service Representative

SUMMARY

Troubleshooting of the vehicle systems to include powertrain, cooling, electrical charging, suspension, heating and ventilation, steering and system integration support of ancillary equipment. Provide orientation and instruction to key personnel with respect to operations, maintenance, repair and parts supply. Support efforts for equipment retrofits. Provide hands-on training as needed. Provide technical/on-site support for the Product Quality Deficiency Report (PQDR) process. Perform and administer warranty services. Perform as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Oshkosh product line.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Provide field support to military customers within assigned region

2. Diagnose, repair, and service Oshkosh defense vehicles. Coordinate with customers and fellow employees to get service and parts expedited to the customer’s satisfaction.

3. Anticipate and manage customer needs and develop recommended parts stocking requirements for upcoming field or maintenance operations.

4. Recommend and provide instruction to operators and maintainers on the correct operations and maintenance procedures Oshkosh Defense Products

5. Execute defense, domestic and international field service efforts.

6. Execute defense warranty administration process

7. Travel as required, up to70 percent annually.

8. The ability to travel as required is a high requirement for this position.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma, HSED or GED

Minimum of 5 years mechanical experience with Heavy Wheeled Vehicles

Must be able to obtain a CDL

Some positions require a Secret Security Clearance
