Freight Forwarder

Advanced Supply Chain are seeking a highly experienced Fright Forwarding operator who is experienced in Air, Road & Sea fright fright-forwarder who is passionate about end-to-end logistics to come and support their German operations at their site in Nettetal. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled freight forwarder to join a dynamic team in a permanent role that values growth and client success.

As our Freight Forwarder you’ll be supporting with the management of our goods in and out of the warehouse making sure the correct shipping regulations and customs procedures are followed. You’ll also have the opportunity to support with both group and external tenders by working closely with our commercial team and developing cross selling ideas for both current and new clients. You’ll be our onsite expert in managing the workflow operation in Germany within our Cargowise system.

**What will you be doing as our Freight Forwarder**:

- Coordinate and manage all aspects of the shipment process, including booking, documentation, and customs clearance.
- Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and carriers to ensure smooth and timely delivery of goods.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and customs requirements.
- Optimize shipping routes and methods to minimize costs and improve efficiency.
- To ensure that all traffic planning activity is undertaken in line with legislative requirements.
- Process necessary shipping and customs documents, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and export/import documentation.

**What we need from our Freight Forwarder**:

- Strong knowledge of international trade regulations and customs requirements
- Have experience working with Cargowise
- Strong negotiation skills to secure favourable rates and terms with carriers and suppliers
- Proficiency in logistics software and systems to track shipments and generate necessary documentation

Pay: 40.000,00€ - 60.000,00€ per year
