Duties include academic services in the project named above. Research associates may also pursue independent research and further academic qualifications.

Specific Duties

**Requirements**:
A university degree in a relevant field plus doctorate.
- PhD degree in physics or related field
- experience in accelerator physics, ultrafast and nonlinear optics
- excellent understanding and technical capabilities of vacuum technology and beam diagnostics
- good programming skills (Python, Matlab, C++)
- very good communication skills in English
- team player
