**Job Description**:
Ensure Compliance and effective data management across the organization, with a focus on the Customer Support department. Handle and support our customers with all matter data protection.
- Act as Compliance specialist and GDPR lead for the Customer Support department and serve as a primary contact for all Compliance-related questions and issues
- Take care of customer queries related to privacy both in writing (via our Ticketing system) as well as on the phone.
- Find ways to optimize privacy-related Customer support processes such as handling of Data Subject Request tickets,
- Manage and document the department-specific Record of Processing Activities (RoPA)
- Process the requests for information according to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and optimize the associated processes
- Collaborate closely and consult with our Legal team, our Director Data Protection the Data Protection Officer, as well as department leadership
- Regulate the access rights to personal data and processes and ensure the deletion of personal data that is no longer required
- Act as a contact person for the onboarding process of new suppliers including checking Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) and Technical Organization Measures (TOMs) for completeness, signature or changes
- Define and design appropriate organizational measures for possible risks in the handling of personal data and their regular evaluation or review
- Develop regular Data Protections training for the department
**Qualifications**:
- Around 3-5 years professional experience, ideally in the field of governance, risk and compliance or Customer Support
- Affinity to IT systems, IT topics
- Ideally some experience and knowledge of dealing with customer queries (Tickets and phone calls)
- Affinity to legal issues, in particular GDPR-topics
- Strong communication and analytical skills, team mentality and a structured way of working round off your qualifications
- Fluency in English and German is mandatory, further languages are a plus
