**We are seeking for**:
We are seeking for a motivated and detail-oriented student assistant to join our qualitative research project focused on humanitarian operations. As a Research Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the coding process, identifying key concepts from interviews and reports to contribute to the research outcomes. The period for this position is from 15.02.2024 until at least 15.04.2024 with the possibility that the contract will be extended if you are needed longer for the project or possible further tasks. The advertised position is on a €520 basis with 38.5 hours per month.

**Your Responsibilities**:

- ** Literature Familiarization**: Dive into academic literature to get an understanding of the humanitarian (research) context.
- ** Material Familiarization**: Dive into interview transcripts and reports related to our research to get comprehensive understanding of the content.
- ** Coding Process**: Employ qualitative coding techniques to identify and categorize key concepts within the material.
- ** Collaboration**: Work closely with the principal investigator (PhD student) to discuss coding strategies, insights, and progress.

**Your qualifications**:

- ** Language Proficiency**: Proficient in both English and French, with excellent reading and comprehension skills in both languages.
- ** Interest in Humanitarian Operations**: A genuine interest in humanitarian operations and a basic understanding of the challenges and dynamics in the field.
- ** Availability**: Able to commit to the project from the middle of February for a specified duration.
