At our headquarters in Hamburg, Germany, the Intellectual Property team is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated
- IP Assistant (all genders)- part time (32 hours per week) and permanent- to assist in the continued development and implementation of Evotec’s patent strategy, as well as to identify and pursue valuable intellectual property generated in a dynamic research and development environment.- Responsibilities:
- Process and manage contracts and documents within the Evotec group globally related to IP matters, such as invention assignments as well as correspondence with inventors including sanity checks of documents, collection of signatures and (e-) filing of documents
- Work closely together with Patent Counsels, Legal Counsels and Business Development Managers to process documents for signature
- Administer the group patent and trademark portfolio
- Develop and improve processes and document management systems
- Support the team with general administrative tasks
- Qualifications:
- Patentfachangestellte / Patentfachangestellter or Patent /Trademark Administrator (all genders)
- Ideally with work experience in patent and trademark administration and/or contract handling and management
- Profound knowledge in MS Office
- Clear and open communication style to interact effectively across functional, geographic and cultural boundaries within the company and externally on all levels
- High attention to detail and the ability to handle complexity of the work while remaining highly organized
- Fluency in written and spoken English and German
