**As a recruiting partner of Avaloq, we are looking for you as Oracle DBA (a) for their Berlin location.** In your position, you will join a team of motivated, enthusiastic and hardworking colleagues, who always take the time to laugh together and view challenges from all sides. This opens the chance to quickly master challenges. The team members follow mostly ITIL structures and it is their mutual goal to complete the "run the bank" job in Avaloq successfully. **What You Will Be Doing**
- As an Oracle specialist, you have your finger on the pulse of Avaloqs systems, perform monitoring and performance analyses and support 2nd/3rd level support in incident and problem management
- You monitor and optimize the Oracle databases of the customers over the entire life cycle
- You will analyse identified bottlenecks and improvement potentials, structure solution approaches and plan and control the implementation of suitable measures
- In everything you do, you keep an eye on data protection and security and use the tools and processes
- With your know-how, you actively support projects and point out implementation paths

**What You Bring To The Job**
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in computer science or a related field
- Senior profile with proven work experience of several years in Oracle databases
- Experience in analysing technical problems and preparing and automating recurring administrative tasks
- Experience with configuration management, optimisation as well as monitoring of database systems
- En: C1 - Advanced

**Nice-to-Haves**
- Experience in the field of banking IT (regulation, security)
- Ge: C1 - Advanced
