We are searching for a highly analytical and strategic **Director of Finance** to join our Leadership Team, being an advisor to the CEO, and lead the Controlling, FP&A and Accounting team.

You will be working on overseeing our financial policies, projects delivery and strategies, to help deliver strategic business insights while engaging with internal and external business partners.

**How you will be contributing to our team**
- Develop long-term financial plans (business plan, budget, cash flow analysis).
- Lead the company's financial modeling and scenario planning efforts.
- Oversee dashboards and corporate reporting documents, including presentations to the board and management.
- Provide commercial analysis, work on future business cases and evaluate strategic initiatives.
- Provide regular performance presentations, analysis and business cases to our investors, senior and top management and assist with critical ad hoc issues.
- Monitor the achievement of the company's OKRs through our monthly performance reviews
- Advocate for accountability and financial discipline throughout the company
- Assume responsibility for the accuracy of financial statements, treasury and compliance issues
- Lead and develop the finance and accounting team through mentoring, coaching, and clear goal setting

**What you should bring**:

- Minimum 8+ years of finance experience, preferably in a data-driven tech start-up environment, and/or some investment banking or management consulting experience, including 4+ years of leadership experience.
- Advanced understanding of financial reporting, accounting and financial modeling.
- Partner mentality and relationship building skills with the ability to prioritize, negotiate, and collaborate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
- We fail fast and learn faster - with a willingness to be agile and learn quickly
- You are comfortable and able to achieve our goals in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment.
- Strong leadership skills and experience building small teams to enable effective, profitable business growth and create value for shareholders
- Proficiency in the English language, knowledge of German would be a big plus
