We offer a full-time position, based on a three-year fixed-term contract, with the option of
renewal. Remuneration is in accordance with pay grade E13 of the German public-sector
collective agreement, TV-L.
**Duties and responsibilities**
- Contribute to the _Software Engineering knowledge of NLP models_ (SENLP) project
funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG).
- Carry out research on the quality of large language models (LLMs), especially on the
validation of their fundamental capabilities, the assessment of their domain knowledge,
- No formal teaching obligation but opportunities to participate in and contribute to the
Chair’s teaching portfolio.

- In-depth knowledge of deep learning (especially transformers) and a good knowledge of
software engineering
- In-depth knowledge of specific language models, natural language processing and
qualitative analysis would be an advantage.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Knowledge of German would be advantageous but is not a requirement.
- Teaching experience in a university context would be desirable.
