Coordinator Eaf Projects

ArcelorMittal is engaged in a very ambitious decarbonisation strategy to reach net zero in 2050. Intermediate objectives have been set in 2030, -25% at group level and -35% at Europe level and will be reached through an unprecedented steelmaking transition. In this context, ArcelorMittal Europe - Long Products is looking for a dynamic and dedicated segment coordinator for all the projects related to the Electrical Arc Furnace (EAF).

In this position, you will coordinate all the EAF projects across Long Europe and, in particular, you will be in charge of:

- Providing technical support and coordinating the design & engineering of the projects along with local project, operation and maintenance teams across the segment including OEMs in order to have standard systems - as much as feasible.
- Supporting the EAF projects across Long Europe in order to achieve EAF process excellence.
- Following up the implementation plan and controlling modification engineering to avoid cost overrun.
- Deploying standard asset tree, bills of materials, spares, maintenance plans in Long Europe EAF.
- Following up on EAF condition maintenance monitoring and digital solutions in partnership with global R&D.
- Benchmarking and/or exchanging best practices with other EAFs inside/outside the group to contribute to the development of a EAF engineering management framework.
- Steering the segment EAF committee to prepare and implement commissioning and ramp up plan.

**Your profile**:

- University’s degree in Engineering/Metallurgical/Chemical studies.
- Expertise in ferrous scrap input material for steel industry (scrap preparation, characterisation and processing).
- Expertise on the components, advantages and process steps in the EAF.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in the EAF field.
- English: professional level.
- Any other European language (German/French/Spanish) would be an asset.
- Sound communication, teamwork and project management capabilities.
- Excellent in problem-solving and dealing with complexity.
