**What you will do**

Your tasks
- State-of-the-art analysis and benchmarking for quantifying machine learning safety in human-robot collaboration
- Research gap identification and further development of machine learning safety quantification algorithms
- Application of machine learning algorithms for human detection
- Concept implementation and validation on a robot simulation platform.

**What you bring to the table**
- Above-average degree in electrical engineering, physics, mathematics, computer science, automation technology, or related disciplines
- Knowledge in data science, machine learning, and robotics
- Experience with the robot operation system (ROS) and a simulation platform like Gazebo, WeBot is a plus.
- Analytical and structured mindset
- Excellent German or English language skills.
