Scope of duties

You will work on a research project with the following objectives:

- Explore differences in the cellular landscape between symptomatic and asymptomatic atherosclerotic plaques with the aim of detecting potential drug targets for symptomatic atherosclerotic disease
- Detect spatial transcriptomic and cellular phenotypes associated with symptomatic atherosclerotic disease and compare to traditional histological images of atherosclerotic plaques
- Analyze the genomic profile of single-cell expression within human atherosclerotic lesions with the goal of using single-cell expression quantitative loci (sc-eQTLs) as genetic instruments in Mendelian randomization analyses focusing on the detection of causal mechanisms involved in human atheroprogression

Our requirements
- has a PhD degree in a relevant field
- has advanced knowledge in single-cell/spatial transcriptomics
- has documented experience with bioinformatic analyses
- is a team player with good organizational and communication skills
