Qm Specialist

**Business Overview**:
**Job Purpose**:
The objective is to perform tasks related to quality, occupational safety, plant safety, and environmental protection (QHSE) in order to meet the requirements of the respective management system standards and fulfill the expectations of internal and external customers (employees, departments, customers, authorities, etc.).

**Responsibilities**:

- Processing of internal and external complaints (including corrective and preventive actions / CAPA, 8D reporting).
- Follow-up and driving of complaint and CAPA processing of involved departments
- Creating, updating and controlling data and documents (e.g. QHSE relevant databases, reports, evaluations, regulations, etc.)
- Assist other departments with assessments and decisions regarding non-conforming products (e.g. shelf life extensions, returns, refurbishments, etc.)
- Assist other departments in improving non-conforming documentation
- Assist other departments in improving non-conforming procedures
- Follow up on tasks and analyze, evaluate and document QHSE related results and operations with reporting to the QHSE Manager.
- Performing QHSE tasks (e.g. internal audits) and supporting other departments in their performance of QHSE-relevant tasks
- Development and introduction of improvement measures regarding QHSE-relevant processes
- Carrying out statistical evaluations (e.g. customer satisfaction, Minitab calculations)

**Requirements & Qualifications**:

- Quality Management Specialist or Chemical Laboratory Technician (or equivalent) with professional experience in quality management and industry
- Training as auditor preferred
- Knowledge of management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001)
- Knowledge of statistics and statistical methods
- Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken
- Ability to work under pressure and strong communication skills
- Organizational and planning skills
- Strengths in creativity / problem solving and/or continuous improvement
