- within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.**
**Your tasks and responsibilities**:
- Together with your team, you will be responsible for the global planning of assemblies and parts for Varian's radiotherapy equipment to ensure the ability to supply systems and kits from Kemnath
- You will be responsible for coordinating demand forecasts for various system and kit configurations, controlling production and material planning through Material Requirements Planning (MRP), releasing purchase orders and stock transfer orders to external/internal suppliers and ensuring on-time delivery
- You will assist in escalating the potential impact of material shortages. You will co-ordinate cross-functional teams to resolve any potential disruption to operations or impact on the delivery of customer orders
- You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of supply chain and logistics processes by supporting projects to improve the resilience, flexibility and efficiency of the supply chain. In doing so, you will make decisions that take into account the entire supply chain process. Your tasks are varied - including flexible assignments in other areas of the supply chain/logistics as required

**Your qualifications and experience**:
- You have a completed bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics or industrial engineering, etc. ideally with a focus on SCM or a comparable discipline
- Ideally you already have first professional experience in material logistics and supply chain, as well as initial experience in collaboration with international partners
- Project management experience or certification is preferred
