**Your role**

In this role you will work together with the Sourcing category managers for technical supplies, and will support in various Sourcing projects finding the best suppliers across a variety of industrial material groups.

You will be encouraged to proactively drive the success of Procurement projects and gain experience in the following fields: Data gathering, preparation and analysis (screening of technical markets, analysis of proposals, pre-selection of suppliers); Supplier management and global procurement strategies; Prepare and support RfX processes, incl. supplier interactions and negotiations; Contract (buyer and supplier) compliance management, incl. set-up and alignment of contracts; Collection of documentation to support the purchase process with a focus on compliance; Drive the digital journey of Procurement by supporting to setup new eCatalogs with suppliers; Develop a deep knowledge of technical and laboratory supply markets and industries in Europe.

**Qualifications
- Recent bachelor's degree graduate in business, engineering or economics
- Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills combined with outstanding business acumen
- Strong team orientation, professional attitude, and service orientation
- Good knowledge in Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English
