The International Journal of Cancer is the official publication of the Union for International Cancer Control and its editorial office is located at the German Cancer Research Center in Heidelberg, Germany.

**Job description**:

- Support the Associate Editors during the review process
- Review incoming manuscripts according to the journal's guidelines and requirements
- Invite reviewers, check submitted reviews and commit decisions
- Communicate regularly with authors and reviewers
- Provide secretarial assistance to the Managing Editor
- Update the reviewer database
- Assist with social media posting

**Requirements**:

- Education level not higher than bachelor's degree
- Interest in scientific publications and communication
- Excellent command of English
- Knowledge of main basic computer software
- Skills in internet research
- Previous experience in an editorial office is an asset
- Knowledge of ScholarOne software is also an advantage
- Organized, attentive to details, communicative, and willing to work in a team
