For our international team in the Munich office we are looking for a motivated person at the earliest possible start date for the position of

**SEM Specialist EMEA (f/m/d)**

**The role**:
The SEM Specialist handles daily Google account maintenance and evaluates SEM performance for the assigned accounts, campaigns, & ad groups using best practices and tools. This position is responsible for daily management, growth, and creation of campaigns and ad groups within the assigned accounts and/or campaigns.

**What to expect**:

- Perform daily account maintenance and creation of pay-per-click accounts on Google, Bing, Yahoo, & other search platforms as assigned.
- Manage the execution of search marketing campaigns & ad groups, including setup, analysis, optimization, monitoring, reporting, budget pacing & forecasting, keyword research and expansion.
- Provide recommendations and execute strategies for keyword opportunities, campaign structuring, targeting, display network, and other facets of paid search in accordance with company goals.
- Optimize campaign/program performance through continuous testing & monitoring including collection and analysis of negative keywords.
- Manage budget of all assigned paid search accounts and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Responsible for initiating the building and maintenance of reports and dashboards using search platform data plus data from additional sources.
- Maintain and monitor keyword bids, quality score, and other account metrics as assigned.
- Perform administrative duties with the SEM department including (but not limited to) scheduling meetings, organizing presentations, researching and evaluating new opportunities, coordinating global communications.
- Establish, maintain, and continuously build on Mouser and E-commerce business knowledge.
- Make recommendations to improve performance based on the monitoring of keyword bids, quality scores, and other account metrics.
- Make recommendations for A/B testing for continuous improvement.
- Maintain and actively pursue awareness on SEM Industry trends and changes and share this knowledge with the SEM team.

**What we are looking for**:

- Degree in marketing, statistics or related field or at least two years suitable combination of education and experience.
- First experience with hands-on pay-per-click account management and with bid management & web analytics tools.
- Thorough understanding of pay-per-click campaigns using Google AdWords. Google Adwords Certification preferred.
- Strong mathematical skills and analytical focus with the ability to independently implement paid search optimization findings.
- Outstanding organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present recommendations and suggestions for growth.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, negotiation, organizational and teaching skills.
- Sound judgment in managing budgets to identify issues and escalates when appropriate.
- Fluent English skills (written and verbal); German skills and additional languages would be a plus.
