IFF is very excited to welcome a new **Payroll Supervisor **to our team in Hamburg and we hope it’s you In this role you will be working according to hybrid working model (office & remote).
**Your Scope & Key Responsibilities include**:
- Supervision and participation in monthly payroll run for multiple legal entities including all validation/approvals.
- Coordination/monitoring of payroll processes with various external service providers.
- Monitoring of financial payroll results; resolution of issues with finance department.
- Execution and monitoring of internal controls to SOX standards, and ensuring year end processes and documentation are correct.
- Coaching, training and mentoring of team.
- Ensuring SLA’s, KPI’s and Metrics are produced each period.
- Ensuring all legal/federal/statutory filing and payments are completed on time.
- Contact person regarding payroll related matters for internal and external management stakeholders, i.e. employees regarding payroll related matters - control of ticketing system.
- Processing of inquiries from internal and external auditors, local authorities and internal stakeholders.
- Active support in improving local payroll processes/SOP’s.
- Participation in projects and ad hoc tasks as required, i.e. extension of payroll responsibility covering additional legal entities.
- Legal entity site visits each site once per month required.

**Your Requirements**:
- 5 - 10 years of relevant German payroll supervisory experience required.
- Tariff and non-tariff /CBA experience required.
- Relevant professional qualification/bachelor’s degree required.
- Knowledge of local wage tax, social security and pension regulations required.
- Fluency in German & English required.
- Intermediate Excel knowledge required.
- Working experience with time and attendance systems as well as shared service centers required.
- Strong Team leadership and team building skills required.
- Discreet, capable, hands on, knowledgeable and confident.
- Ability to work with multiple teams, works councils and regional Managers.
- Ability to communicate with various levels of management and participate/lead calls and meetings.
- Customer focused, ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee pay.
