- In the projects, you are increasingly taking on more responsibility and developing your project management skills.

**What you bring to the table**
- You have successfully obtained a university science degree in engineering (process engineering, materials engineering, chemistry, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering) or industrial engineering.
- You would like to advance your scientific qualifications with a PhD and have the potential for further scientific development and profile building.
- You are motivated to contribute to the success of the energy transition through applied research.
- You have experience of working with quantitative methods, ideally programming skills as well as experience in dealing with large datasets/databases.
- Experience with energy systems modelling as well as with industrial and chemical industry transformation is an advantage.
- We require good communication skills in German and English as well as the ability to present research results in a convincing manner, both orally and in writing.

- Infrastructure: Our workplaces are equipped with the latest technology.
