Director Maintenance

In your new role, you will:

- Be **accountable for the performance **and **cost results of multiple related units **such as operational MNT Teams and MNT Engineering Team
- **Manage teams of professionals and managers **in the maintenance **; may also provide leadership to supervisors
- **Control resources **and **policy formation **in area of responsibility
- **Define KPIs and Controlling-procedures **to ensure the planned equipment performance
- **Evaluate **, **recommend **and **drive **equipment improvements **to improve availability, capability and yield
- Perform **equipment analyses **to initiate improvement programs
- **Foster a strong partnership **with our other **worldwide Backend teams **as well as on-site with our departments in Warstein (e.g. Engineering, Production, Logistic, Finance)
- Make **decisions **that are guided by **resource availability **and **functional objectives**

As Director Maintenance you stay aware of costs in your decisions and actions and optimize cost-benefit relations. Furthermore, you know and respect the values of the company and follow agreed processes and corporate rules. Lastly, you translate the strategy into ambitious goals and make sure that it becomes a binding guideline for people’s actions.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

- A **technical degree in Electrical Engineering **, **Mechanical Engineering **or similar; The total knowledge and skills can also be acquired in other ways
- At least **8 years relevant working experience **in the area of **Production **, **Maintenance **Engineering **; thereof **4 years relevant management experience**:

- Strong **leadership **, **communication **and **moderation skills**:

- **High experience of stakeholder management **in **complex matrix organization **since the function requires permanent alignment with multiple stakeholders
- Ideally gained **leadership experience **in managing teams in shift work
- Experience with **organizational changes**:

- Excellent **English **and **German **communication skills
