- **Sub Project Lead - Offshore Cable (m/w/d)** at our location

**Your contribution to TenneT**:

- You are in charge of managing the full technical scope regarding the installation of subsea cables, starting from EPC contract signing until the handover to operations department after installation. Your main responsibilities include:

- Managing the sub project in **all exciting aspects regarding the subsea cable installation**, esp. monitoring the cable contractors' design and engineering, providing and coordinating all TenneT's supplies to the sub project (e.g. survey data)
- Reviewing and approving **contractors' engineering, procedures, and activities** (which at times requires on-site/vessel visits); selecting and managing **offshore representatives** during all relevant working steps wherever required
- ** Aligning with TenneT's technical specialists** across different units wherever further expertise is needed in order to ensure the best possible quality for the project; **aligning with the Marine Warranty Surveyor as well as with relevant authorities**:

- Managing **the interface between cable and offshore stations contractors **regarding the connection of subsea cable to the DC-GIS (Direct Current - Gas Insolated Switchgear)
- Ensuring **compliance** with deadlines, costs, quality and HSE guidelines, TenneT's documentation requirements and BSH (Bundesamt für Seeschiffahrt und Hydrographie) regulations

**Your profile and background**:

- A **master's degree** in the field of **Civil/Mechanical Engineering** or a comparable qualification and **at least 2 years of experience in the field of offshore**:

- ** Several years of experience** in **project management** or **coordination of construction sites**, ideally in the environment of **offshore cables**:

- A high level of assertiveness, independence, ownership, open-mindedness, and team-oriention; a dynamic, enthusiastic, and intrinsically motivated personality; great **communication skills**:

- ** Business fluency in English**, both speaking and writing
- ** Willingness to travel** to offshore vessel/sites, combined with a** class B driver's licence**

**This will be our challenge**:

- Large Projects Offshore is a key contributor to the energy transition. The Unit is responsible for the current and future development of the offshore grid as a whole and subsequently for the development and realization of the DC interconnectors and the Offshore Wind Farm grid connections in both the German and Dutch sectors of the North Sea.**Additional information**:
