**Your department**:
You will be part of a professional team that is responsible for centralizing digitalisation activities within Trading, Finance and Risk. In a quick changing environment, we are building the bridge between Business and IT globally in projects and initiatives. This includes core processes within Markets & IT, overseeing the functional system architecture as well as ensuring Market, Finance & Risk strategy.

Securing high quality data and striving for a data architecture that scales with business is key for the on-going digitalisation journey. To establish our self-developed Enterprise Data Management (EDM) platform and to update the governance framework is part of facilitating this. As the EDM platform owner for Trading, Finance & Risk related external market data, the Data Excellence team seeks to secure compliant and governed data through prudent ownership and management of data.
- Be responsible for the sourcing and management of external market data
- Collaborate within a cross-functional team of various data stewards from different domains, data custodians and key stakeholders from IT
- Act as a main contact and sparring partner for related questions and requests in the EDM space
- Elicit, capture, and analyze end-user data business requirements
- Maintain, test, and keep oversight of technical data solutions, existing datasets, data environments and data procedures relevant for Markets & IT
- Understand and actively manage cross dependencies in EDM to avoid disruptive changes
- Configure relevant systems to ensure sourcing of data to the EDM and sub-systems
- Establish data standards and manage data definitions including meta data
- Assist with data procurement, vendor contact and ensure data usage is within license requirements
- Perform data integration tests and manage data pipelines in the EDM domain
- Provide training on the data governance framework and data management
- Reinforce an experienced team with new innovative ideas

**Qualifications**:

- University degree in economics, engineering, or natural sciences
- Minimum of two years working experience with data management and market data in commodity markets or with timeseries and cross-sectional types of data
- Good understanding of trading environments and the basic mechanics of financial instruments
- Strong analytical skills and a commercial mindset
- Proactive and independent way of working
- Knowledge in programming and data base structures is an advantage
- Reliable team player with excellent communication skills
- Fluent in English (language skills in Norwegian and/or German are an advantage)
- Experience with agile ways of working
