Your Responsibilities
- Analysis and implementation of a cut finite element approach for fully Eulerian fluid-structure interactions
- Development and analysis of time discretisation schemes suitable for problems posed on time-dependent (sub-)domains
- Implementation and investigation of a turbulence model based on the variational multiscale method
- Writing scientific articles and presentation at international conferences
Your Competencies
- A strong background in the numerical analysis of finite element methods
- Strong programming skills in an advanced programming language, proficiency in C++ is an advantage
- Good communication skills in English, German is an advantage
