**Your Position**
Do you want to play a crucial role in shaping the future of a burgeoning company? We are looking for a dynamic and experienced VP of New Business to drive the strategic development of our SaaS company. Your expertise in sales and marketing will be key to achieving our growth goals and strengthening our market position.
**Your every day work routine**
- **Sales Team Leadership**: You will lead a dedicated sales team consisting of 3 direct reports and approximately 100 employees. Your leadership skills and talent for employee development will be critical.
- **Complete Responsibility for the Entire Funnel**: You will manage the entire sales and marketing funnel, from lead generation to closing deals, developing effective strategies to optimize each step. Your focus will be on strategic planning and conceptual approaches to fully leverage the funnel's potential.
- **Strategic Development and Implementation**: Working closely with other leadership team members, you will proactively advance the strategy for Lanes & Planes and be responsible for the successful implementation of corporate goals within your domain.
- **Market Expansion and Maximization of Potential**: You will identify new markets and maximize our company's potential to enter them. You will employ innovative approaches to generate new business opportunities and expand our market share, both locally and internationally. Your strategic insight will allow you to recognize and optimally utilize the upside potential of our company.
- **Current Focus on the DACH Market**: With a clear focus on the DACH market, you will be responsible for developing and implementing tailored strategies to strengthen our presence in Germany and expand our business throughout the region. Your strategic thinking will enable you to develop the best approaches for our current focus market.
- **Responsibility for All Go-to-Market Activities**: You will oversee all go-to-market activities for new business areas and products, from conception to successful market launch. Your strategic direction and conceptual approach will ensure an effective and targeted market entry.
- **Internationalization**: You will recognize the potential for international expansion and develop long-term plans to grow our business globally and enter new markets. Your strategic approach and conceptual thinking will allow you to identify and capitalize on the upside of internationalization.
**Your profile**
**Professional**:
- You have extensive experience in building and scaling startups and scale-ups as a senior manager in sales and marketing.
- Your skillset includes business planning, sales funnel optimization, marketing strategies for SaaS companies in the scaling phase, as well as target audience analysis and contract negotiations.
- Expertise in selling SaaS software and in developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies is essential.
**Personal**:
- You are resilient and have a proven track record in similar projects.
- Your communication skills in English are outstanding, and you present confidently and convincingly to potential customers and other stakeholders. German is a plus.
- You possess a hands-on mentality and are intrinsically motivated to actively drive topics and tasks forward.
- You have a strong strategic mindset and can successfully tackle complex challenges.
- You are willing to travel to the Munich office at least once a month, more frequently in the initial months; ideally, you live in the greater Munich area and can come to the office 50% of the time.
