An exciting opportunity has arisen for a SW and HW Configuration Specialist (f/m/d) to join Rolls-Royce Electrical in Munich.

What you will be doing
With this exciting opportunity you will get a chance to:
- plan, control and monitor the hardware, software and document configurations within the project,
- maintain the system configuration and HW, SW and parameter data sets,
- define and assign all configuration items,
- drive the requirements derived from DO-254 and DO-178 within the project team and work accordingly,
- write, implement, and maintain the Programme Configuration Management Plan (CMP) and derived documents,
- be responsible for the fulfilment of the objectives and the control of the execution of the activities defined in the CMP,
- generate baselines and traceability in the applicable tools (e.g. GitLab, Teamcenter, Polarion) on product level,
- perform CM audits in acc. to ISO 10007,
- work in close collaboration with project management, development team, customers and suppliers.

To be successful in this role you will need to:
- have university degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, aerospace engineering, natural sciences or an equivalent technical university degree,
- have ideally several years of professional experience in the area of configuration management,
- be experienced in the development as part of a Design Organisation,
- have strong understanding of the use of configuration software i.e. GitLab, Teamcenter, Polarion,
- have profound knowledge in the development of software and micro controllers, ideally with aviation background,
- have ideally general experience in the field of electric and hybrid-electric propulsion technology,
- be excited to go new ways and to work in a team on innovative and disruptive solutions,
- have business fluent English skills (German skills desirable).
