**YOUR FUTURE ROLE**

SAP Business Transformation supports customers in identifying business driven cloud opportunities, value creation potential in the planning of strategic IT and business projects. The aim is to work for SAP’s customer for lifetime, thereby significantly influencing enterprises' growth, profitability, sustainability and strategic positioning against their competition.

A major factor for success is to cooperate with the Market Units in the region EMEA North, to identify and fulfill customers' strategic value roadmap, both from an IT perspective and in relation to the affected business departments based on deep industry knowledge. SAP Business Transformation uses strategic analysis, management consulting methodologies, and implementation scenarios to identify and add value to companies by:

- Preparing and securing customers’ long term investment decisions based on our customers’ strategic intent, our customer’s values, industry and business requirements, roadmap decisions, IT solution architecture design decisions, IT roadmap design, detailed business case examinations and enabling cost reductions (TCO)
- Developing combined business and IT strategies in view of transformation into the cloud
- Taking best-practice business processes into account by use of SAP Signavio
- Supporting large transformation planning and processes within our Service and Industry Cloud portfolio with the customers
- Active acquisition support acting within ONE SAP and in cooperation with e.g. software presales and sales, services sales, value engineering, IBU and RISE
- Use case / value proposition development across customer buying centers
- Act as a conduit to other industry-based experts both internally and external to SAP
- Analyzing customer’s current industry solution portfolio and develop industry specific point of views and industry business themes
- Develop and enhance sales motions
- Build an industry brand and regularly contribute / publish via social media channels
- Define the enablement tools and tactics to implement these approaches across EMEA North
- Work closely with product and portfolio management to influence the creation of high value service offerings for Consumer Products & LiveSciences

**YOUR PROFILE**

Required Work Experience and Skills
- Higher education degree (Masters degree or MBA preferred e.g. business administration, computer sciences, engineering etc.)
- Strong experience in working experience as Management Consultant / Business Transformation within SAP or external
- Strong experience and knowledge for Consumer Products and/or LiveSciences
- Experience in responsible solution / services selling
- Strategic thinking
- Demonstrated success with complex, long-cycle sales campaigns in a fast-paced, consultative and competitive market
- Demonstrated experience with industry specific SAP partner industry solutions
- Solid knowledge in SAP cloud solutions, perspectives on current and future trends and technology portfolio combined with respective industry business understanding in Consumer Products and LifescienceLiveSciences (incl. e.g. ICSM, BRH, CGTO)
- Ability to manage customer’s expectations and communicate on controversial issues or difficult audiences
- Ability to establish trust across internal / external stakeholders
- Ability to build executive level relationships
- Ability to operate across organizational boundaries and influence across all management levels both internally and externally
- Strong influencing skills to reach agreement on key decisions
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, communication and networking skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and solid presentation skills
- Self-confident, communicative, and diplomatic character; strategic and analytical thinking; coordination and decision-making ability
- Team player, proactive networking attributes, results and execution focused, willing to learn
- Fluent in English is mandatory

**ABOUT THE TEAM**

In the Business Transformation & Industry Cloud team you will report to the regional head of the team as Principal Services Architect. You will be working closely together with other related Services and Software teams as Presales, Value Engineering and the IBU across the entire EMEA North region. The mission is to support the Market Units in their presales activities with transformation skills. The focus is on incrementally increasing the pipeline of opportunities within accounts aligned to the assigned Industry Consumer Products & LifeSsciences that will ultimately increase both Services and License revenue.
