The role is part of the QHSE and MSA team in the Oldendorff Fleet Management. The team contributes to the company’s success, ensuring that vessels are operated complying with company’s management system; fulfilling clients requirements; meeting national, international regulations including ISM, ISPS & ISO.
The team is looking for a QHSE - MSA Administrator, managing the SMS, i.e. Oldendorff Management System, aligning the ERP solution for the department assigned projects and functions.
**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Responsible for managing the OMS, which means:
Maintain OMS with regular updates
Coordinating with respective departments for revisions
Implementing changes in the OMS
After approval, organizing the roll out to vessels in coordination
with the IT Team
Assist in implementation of OMS Simplification project
PIC for implementation and management of electronic document
management system
- As BASSnet Key User:
Ascertain departmental workflows, processes and coordinate for uniformity
Attend key user meetings and guide support department to
optimize working
Keeping the user guides updated
Support in coordinating the fleet broadcasts and circulars
PIC for keeping the departmental filing system and databases updated
Updating entries in BassNet for QHSE modules as assigned
- Assist the DPA in audit management:
Supporting the QHSE, MSA Managers in arranging audits
Keeping track of the audits and manage timely arrangements
Being budget conscious
Align and coordinate on different reports with the Controlling Team
Perform tasks and duties assigned by the department head
**WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR**:
Holder of a nautical or technical license is optional
Sea going experience is an added advantage
Good IT skills, i.e. Microsoft tools, Power BI
Experience in managing an ERP platform is advantageous
Good English content writing and verbal communication skills
Team player with positive mindset to adapt to changes
