Lab Technician

In this position you will be part of the research and development team of Advantest's Premium SOC Test Solution - the V93000 IC Test platform. You will work in a cross-functional team consisting of Hardware
- and Software-R&D, product marketing, solution architects and customer support. As a lab technician you're the responsible lab owner of our electronics lab in Duisburg:

- Build and development of prototypes for future test systems
- Assemble and maintain 93k test systems and development systems
- Set-up and maintain lab workplaces according to tasks
- Co-ordinate the set-up and maintenance of the lab infrastructure
- On demand CAD drawings, manufacturing of mechanical prototypes (3D printer)
- Analysis, troubleshooting and repair of prototypes and measurement equipment
- Soldering and mechanical tasks as well as measurement runs

**Requirements**:

- Certified technician in electronics and mechanics
- 3+ years of professional experience as technician in R&D labs
- Very good knowledge in use of measuring and soldering equipment
- Good understanding of Electrical & Mechanical Engineering basics
- A solid knowledge in scripting languages as python is beneficial
- Self-initiated, well-structured approach
- Team player with strong communication skills
- Professional English in writing and speaking
- Understanding German is a plus
