Secondary Dutch Teacher

As of August 26, 2024 we are looking for an enthusiastic secondary school teacher

What will you do as a secondary education teacher?

The position includes the following tasks:

- independently preparing and providing lessons in the Dutch language and culture to VO 1, VO 2, VO 3 students (approximately 10 students in total);
- keeping track of the results in the student monitoring system;
- making reports and holding meetings with parents;
- participating in team meetings;
- quality assurance (maintaining and adhering to the school's goals and quality standards).

Profile

We are looking for a dedicated secondary Dutch teacher who:

- has a Dutch or Belgian teaching qualification;
- can easily switch between different ages and language levels;
- can work organized and independently;
- is flexible and creative; and can improvise;
- enjoys participating in our cultural activities.

Offer

- Appointment as a teacher for 4.5 hours per lesson (2 hours of teaching time, 2 hours of preparation time and 0.5 hours of evaluation time);
- Salary depends on education and experience;
- Contract as a self-employed employee (Vertrag für freie Mitarbeiter).

General information:
Stichting Nederlands Onderwijs Frankfurt (SNOF) offers Dutch lessons to approximately 65 students every week (group 1 to VO 3). Classes take place every Monday afternoon from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the location of the Frankfurt International School (FIS), An der Waldlust 15, 61440 Oberursel. In addition to the regular lessons on Mondays, there are culture days on several Saturdays throughout the year.
