Position: Swords and Daggers Manufacturing Manager (Blacksmith/Swordsmith)

**Job Description**:
Production Management:

- Oversee the daily operations of the sword and dagger manufacturing process.
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet demand and delivery targets.
- Ensure efficient use of resources, including materials, equipment, and labor.
- Collaborating with our design team to create unique and high-quality products
- Crafting custom metal pieces, including([specific items, e.g., swords, daggers, tools, decorative pieces)
- Utilizing traditional and modern blacksmithing techniques

Quality Control:

- Establish and maintain quality control standards for all products.
- Conduct regular inspections and tests to ensure products meet specifications.
- Implement corrective actions to address any quality issues.

Team Leadership:

- Supervise and mentor production staff, including metalworkers, machinists, and assembly workers.
- Conduct training sessions to improve skills and knowledge of the team.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

Process Improvement:

- Identify areas for improvement in the manufacturing process and implement changes.
- Utilize lean manufacturing principles to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements to keep processes current.

Safety Compliance:

- Ensure all manufacturing activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.
- Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Inventory Management:

- Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, components, and finished products.
- Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of materials.
- Manage stock levels to prevent overstocking or stockouts.

Cost Management:

- Develop and manage the manufacturing budget.
- Monitor and control production costs to meet financial targets.
- Implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.

Reporting:

- Prepare regular reports on production performance, including output, quality, and efficiency metrics.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management.

Qualifications:
Proven experience as a blacksmith with a strong portfolio of work

Proficiency in various blacksmithing techniques and metalworking tools

Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team

Knowledge of metallurgy and materials science is a plus

Pay: 2.000,00€ - 5.090,10€ per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- 19061 Schwerin: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (required)
