**Intern: UI- & Web-Design (M/F/d)**

**YOUR SHOES TO FILL**:

- Support the UX/UI team with new concepts and features for our Web shop leveraging wireframes, designs, and prototypes.
- From usability to user experience: Continuously enhance our onsite experience & support the UX/UI team with user tests, surveys, onsite analyses, card sorting and A/B testing.
- Showcase and present wireframes, designs, and prototypes to internal stakeholders around the world.
- Together with the creative team establish standardized UI guidelines and processes within our agile product development cycles.
- Support with quality assurance for usability and consistency across our sites and regions and make sure our UI guidelines are followed.
- Stay ahead of emerging UX & UI trends, supported by user testing and recommendations to continuously enhance the BIRKENSTOCK customer experience.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders like Product Owners & Developers.
- Support the ongoing evolution and maintenance of our UX/UI knowledgebase and our UI guidelines.

**YOUR WALK OF LIFE**:

- Education background in communication/media design, product and web design, human interface design, or comparable courses of studies and bring first practical UX/UI experience with you.
- With a specialized focus on Web
- & UI-Design you are passionate about creative ideas and concepts that create an intuitive, user oriented and modern interface for our users.
- Sound understanding of current UI and design trends in the end consumer domain.
- Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
- A good technical understanding of what is possible, and knowledge of HTML and CSS is a plus.
- Demonstrate a confident and open communication style, emphasizing proactive engagement and customer-oriented interactions.
- Exhibit an independent and meticulous work approach, ensuring precision in tasks.
- Willingness to collaborate across disciplines and enjoy presenting designs and concepts in an easily understandable way. (In English)
- Experience working with one or more design tools (e.g. Figma, Sketch or Zeplin)
