Acting as the first point of contact with guests, the front office agent is responsible for providing a consistent and attentive service throughout all the stages of their stay.
Welcomes the guests and handles the check-in and check-out procedures in a courteous manner, by performing concierge duties and promptly addressing special requests and inquiries. Makes and manages reservations, establish payment methods, and verify credit.
The front office agent is expected to work on shifts (early, late, night), to arrive on time and in uniform in accordance with the company policy.
Ensures an efficient and hassle-free communication to all departments, especially with housekeeping and F&B.

Casa Camper, a boutique hotel, with sister locations in Barcelona and Berlin belongs to Camper, the Mallorcan footwear brand. The hotel was founded in 2005 on the same spirit and values that are in the DNA of Camper shoes.

**About you**

- You have excellent communication skills and a strong results orientation.
- You are fluent English. Knowledge of German or any additional languages would be a plus.
- You have a work permit in the European Union without the need for a visa.
**About the position**
We are seeking a Front Desk Agent, an exciting opportunity to be part of Casa Camper Family. We look for individuals who share a passion for excellence and who infuse that enthusiasm into everything they do.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Performs check-in and check-out procedures.
- and upselling.
- Handles incoming and outgoing mails and phone calls with the proper etiquette.
- Thoroughly process all cashier related functions and payment methods, such as credit/debit card transactions, cash, and room charges
- Escorts guest to the room and other property locations, transports their luggage to the room.
- Answers all guests’ questions and inquiries in a timely manner ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Has a thorough knowledge and understanding of the hotel facilities, amenities, room rates and packages.
- Performs concierge services, by providing the guests with all the relevant information. Makes reservations for restaurants, transfers, and other entertainment activities.
- Set up shipments and deliveries for lost items, always ensuring a smooth and hassle-free process.
- Deals with guests’ complaints, addressing the issue effectively and ensuring the guests satisfaction.
- Communicates and cooperates effectively with other hotel departments.
- Coordinates room status updates with the housekeeping department by notification of all check-outs, late check-outs, early check-ins, special requests, and day use rooms.
- Work closely with the maintenance department to coordinate requests for repair work.
- Attend all departmental meetings, training sessions and workshops.
- Maintains safety and hygiene standards of the front office area.
- Reports any unusual occurrences or requests to the manager or assistant manager.
