Core Responsibilities
**System Maintenance and Optimization**: Ensure the optimal performance of our systems through regular maintenance, updates, and optimizations. This includes planning and expansion of both virtual and physical systems.
**Problem Resolution**: Quickly identify and resolve system issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring stability across our IT landscape.
**System Monitoring**: Continuously monitor system performance to preemptively address potential issues before they escalate.
**Automation**: Automate routine tasks, improving efficiency and reliability of system operations.
**Collaboration and Support**: Work closely with the IT team to provide technical support and collaborate on various projects, under the guidance of the Architect. Required Qualifications and Profile
**Proven Experience**: Demonstrable experience (5 years or more) as a Linux Administrator, with a track record of managing complex IT environments.
**Educational Background**: A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Certifications specific to Linux administration (such as LPIC or RHCE) are preferred.
**Technical Expertise**: In-depth knowledge of Linux systems, including system administration, security, and network management.
**Problem-Solving and analytic skills**: Ability to quickly identify and resolve system issues, ensuring mínimal downtime.
**Always Learning Mentality**: A commitment to continuous learning and adaptation in response to the ever-changing technology landscape.
**Innovation and Adoption of Latest Technologies**: Eagerness to stay ahead of market trends, with a particular focus on container technology and infrastructure, reflecting our commitment to adopting innovative solutions.
**Automation and Scripting**: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Perl to automate routine tasks.
**Communication Skills**: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other team members.
