What You'll Do

The position offers an excellent opportunity to learn about economics and financial modeling within industry-specific contexts, and to see how models are implemented into client-oriented solutions at one of the world’s leading management consultancies.

You will have the opportunity to work up to 20 hours per week during the semester and up to 40 hours per week during vacation periods. This role is flexible and can be adapted to fit personal, academic, and professional commitments. The position is temporary, with a minimum duration of 12 months and a maximum of 24 months. You must be an enrolled student at a university in Germany._**

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the maintenance of internal tools and proprietary BCG views on the industry
- Aide in the collection and maintenance of Internal BCG case materials from projects
- Help building internal knowledge repositories

What You'll Bring
- Ongoing bachelor’s or master’s studies with high academic performance - preferably in computer science, software engineering, statistics, business economics, or a related field.
- Interest and proficiency in using analytical tools such as Excel, Alteryx, Tableau, R, etc.
- Strong Excel skills and a good understanding of PowerPoint.
- Interest to work with GenAI models (e.g., ChatGPT, etc.) and other AI tools effectively.
- Familiarity with digital collaboration tools like Trello, Slack, or similar.
- Knowledge of SQL, Macros, VBA programming is an advantage, though not required.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong interpersonal skills, credibility, reliability, and a service-oriented mindset.

The Knowledge Team works in close collaboration with the consulting teams and other groups within our firm to help acquire, retrieve, organize, and analyze the knowledge that enables BCG to deliver superior business value for its clients. Our role is to be a trusted partner and catalyst for all parts of BCG in facilitating the development of knowledge as a core competitive advantage and building our firm's reputation as a global leader in business consulting.
