**About the position**:
We are currently looking for an **Economy Designer**_ _to help us _model and balance SEED's in-game economy_.

This is a super exciting chance to _design a virtual economy from scratch and shape the tools that will provide guidance for years to come_

You would sit in our Economy Team, advising development teams and designing the tools that audit and maintain the game economy. You will identify, prioritize, and formulate plans that address in-game economic problems and crises. It's not all doom and gloom, you will also be designing features that encourage retention and monetization.

**What you will do**:

- Draft and present reports that show the overall health of the in-game economy
- Propose features that add meaningful player agency
- Perform research that validates (or invalidates) experimental changes
- Create and manage tools that simulate the game's balance
- Develop and maintain documentation of economic systems and policies

**Who we think will be a great fit**:

- 2+ years of experience in Economy Design or Economic Advising
- Experience using quantitative analysis and modeling to make decisions and recommendations
- Detail-oriented and capable of clearly communicating complex economic concepts
- Advanced understanding of Excel or other spreadsheet software

**Bonus**:

- Familiarity with Unity
- Proficiency with R, MATLAB or any other statistical analysis software
- Shipped multiplayer titles with complex economies
